Mrs. Aehee Kim Alliance Building Award Winner

We had many good applications essays and thoughtful submissions by outstanding scholars. The winner is Timothy W. Coleman. (Press Release)

We have posted three of the essays. The competition was challenging. The winner had a great essay in addition to outstanding history and potential. He has worked in Washington DC, experienced the political process, and excelled in his jobs. His personal essay displayed excellent future potential for his employment in the National Service arena. There were a good number of Iraq veterans and some currently deployed. This round of competition showed the need for more scholarships to be awarded in the future because there are some great people with great potential to improve National Security.
